The IT Health Check service is provided by the LAN3 Professional Service Team. It assesses your IT infrastructure, reviewing physical servers, virtual servers, storage architecture, performance, patching, and all best-practice configuration.
The service will result in a Health Check survey report, presented to you. This will highlight hostnames, firmware, serial number, resilient and redundant services, patching, and architecture.
The IT Health Check is an extension of LAN3's Network Health Check, which is aimed at your active networking equipment. The IT Health Check covers all aspects of IT infrastructure to ensure your security, productivity, and efficiency is comprehensively reviewed and subsequently optimised.
It's strongly advised that the IT Health Check is undertaken on an annual basis, to keep abreast of security advancements and best-practice changes.
Reports will be provided to you, at the completion of the service, in PDF format. The service is complete once the gathered site-visit data is analysed and compiled into the report. For large report files, you'll be offered a web link to be able to securely download the report file at your convenience.
The report will include a list of recommendations, with indicative timeframes for subsequent remediation.
LAN3 has a pool of engineers qualified and experienced to give clients a detailed and accurate view of their own network(s). The report will provide a comprehensive review of the network along with recommendations where required.
